The Arts Co-op Program is now accepting applications for the upcoming year (intake is only once a year). Open to second and third-year students, the application deadline is September 26.
Statistics show that 90% of Canadian co-op grads receive job offers within one month of graduation. Co-op grads also earn 12% higher starting salaries than non-co-op grads. The Arts Co-op Program allows you to explore your career options while gaining 12 months of paid, professional work experience, a network of contacts, and valuable job search skills.
If you are interested in learning more about our program, please attend one of our information sessions. We will be going over how the program works, the types of work and employers you can expect, and more. You’ll also hear from senior Arts Co-op students about their experiences.
Bachelor of Media Studies information session: Tuesday, September 13, 1-2pm, UCLL 103 (University Centre Lower Level Lounge).
If you can’t make it to the Bachelor of Media Studies information session, you can attend one of our general information sessions:
- Thursday, September 15, 12:30–1:30 pm, Chemistry B250
- Monday, September 19, 4-5 pm, Buchanan A102
- Wednesday, September 21, 5-6 pm, Irving K. Barber Learning Centre 261
Given the Bachelor of Media Studies timetables, it is ideal if students are in 2nd year when they apply to co-op. 3rd year students are also encouraged to apply if they are prepared to extend their time in their degree program.
