Dr. Richard Arias-Hernandez Receives SSHRC Partnership Grant as UBC co-applicant for Archives 4.0: Artificial Intelligence for Trust in Records and Archives project

A total of 58 new projects led by UBC researchers have been awarded funding of $13 million through the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council’s Partnership Grants, Partnership Development Grants and Insight Grants programs.

Among these awarded UBC-led projects is the Archives 4.0: Artificial Intelligence for Trust in Records and Archives project, which our UBC Bachelor of Media Studies and UBC School of Information professor Dr. Richard Arias-Hernandez was co-applicant for.

The project received the SSHRC Partnership Grant, which provides funding for four to seven years of advance research, research training and/or knowledge mobilization in the social sciences and humanities through mutual co-operation and sharing of intellectual leadership.
