The Bachelor of Media Studies (BMS) program at UBC is an interdisciplinary, direct-entry program in the Faculty of Arts.
Combining artistic, technical, and analytical skills, the program is designed to help students understand the impact of technological innovation on our interactions in society. Students in the BMS program have access to unique course offerings and gain hands-on experience as part of their curriculum by utilizing disciplines from over eight departments within the Faculty of Arts.
Located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people, we are a community of faculty members, practitioners, students, research and support staff, all working together to advance the study and understanding of media studies.
