About
Damla Tamer is an artist who explores notions of interiority and exteriority in aesthetic and political realms, in relation to bodies’ encounters with things and each other, their socialization and politicization. She works with mark-marking at the intersections of drawing, textile, and quasi-photographic exposure processes, alongside a performative practice of verbalization.
Damla currently teaches VISA 241: Digital Photography in the BMS program.
