Recently, faculty, staff, and families came together at our Graduation Reception to celebrate the successful graduation of the BMS Class of 2023. At the event, Program Chair Christine D’Onofrio, BMS Professor Richard Arias-Hernandez, and BMS alum and former program assistant Catherine Zhu shared some words with the graduates.
Student Spotlight: Eden Stephanson
As a Year 4 BMS student, Ethan shares their journey in the BMS program and how their studies allowed them to see the power of media to do good in the world. Ethan strives to combine the worlds of academia with art and media technology to advance social justice and empower and uplift marginalized voices.

We celebrated the accomplishments of our Class of 2022 Graduates at our recent Graduation Reception event! It included speeches by the UBC Faculty of Arts Associate Dean Students Dr. Laura Moss, Acting Program Chair Dr. Richard Arias-Hernández, and BMS Faculty & Staff to recognize the achievements of the 2022 cohort, in addition to heartfelt moments shared by the graduates themselves.
