Program Overview
The UBC Bachelor of Media Studies (BMS) program on the Vancouver campus is an interdisciplinary, direct-entry program that combines artistic, technical and analytical skills to help students understand the impact of media in our society.
Courses are from eight diverse disciplines: Art History & Visual Arts, Film Studies & Production, English Language & Literatures, German Media Theory, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Journalism and Information Studies.
Application Deadlines
Apply by December 1, 2021, to be considered for entrance scholarships and awards.
The final deadline to apply for the Bachelor of Media Studies program is January 15, 2022.
