Congratulations to our first graduating cohort from the Bachelor of Media Studies Program at UBC. To celebrate the Graduates, we held a small reception for them and their families, where we had a number of staff and faculty who were integral to the program’s development express their congratulations for our graduates.
Dean of Arts Gage Averill spoke to the Graduates about how much the BMS has evolved since it’s initial stages four years ago.
Program Chair Candis Callison expressed how proud she was of the work the Graduates had done during their time in the program.
BMS Faculty member Richard Arias-Hernandez spoke to the Graduates, and their families, about the evolution he has seen in the program and the students.
