The BMS Welcomes Incoming Faculty Chair Christine D’Onofrio

The BMS would like to welcome Christine D’Onofrio as the incoming Faculty Chair for the program. Christine teaches in the Department of Art History, Visual Art & Theory, and has been a part of the BMS since its inception 5 years ago. As an artist researcher and educator, she works in analogue and digital lens based media, interactive media, printmaking, sculpture, book works, and installation. She has presented on her art and engaged teaching practice internationally, and exhibited her work extensively across Canada. You can read more about Christine’s work on her website here: http://www.christinedonofrio.com/.

Looking forward to her role as Faculty Chair, Christine is excited to see the various ways multiple disciplines, practices, histories and theories connect as they unfold through the work and student experiences in the program.

We would like formally thank Dr. Richard Arias-Hernandez for his dedication and passion as the BMS Faculty Chair during his term this past year. Richard will still be involved in the BMS, both as a core instructor and as the team lead on the BMS Program Evaluation and Renewal (UPER) project, funded by the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund.
